It's Time for the March Craft Box Launch!

I am beginning to really love this time every month. Sharing the contents of the box I have put together is a special time and the reactions I have had have been amazing.

I am delighted to announce details of the March Craft Box. I have curated this with a view to it being totally flexible for any happy occasion. It is based on the Picture Perfect Party Suite, and includes most of the items available in that Suite, plus a few additional items.

The box is, as last month, £20 including P&P and contains product to a value of about £20, which basically means that P&P is FREE. My intention is that I will stick at this price point unless there is an increase in postal charges. To purchase full quantities of the contents of the Craft box would cost a minimum of £106.75 plus P&P (I was staggered when I did the maths on this!)

The March Craft Box will contain:

• 1/2 a pack of DSP (24 6x6 sheets)

• 2 A4 sheets each of Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach, Pool Party, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist (10 sheets of coloured cardstock in total)
• 2 A4 sheets of smooth Whisper White cardstock
• 2 each of the 4 colours of Binder Clips in this suite (8 in total)
• 1 yard of Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon
• 1 yard of Berry Burst Fine Woven Ribbon
• 1 yard Bermuda Bay Stitched Satin Ribbon
• 1 yard Peekaboo Peach Grosgrain Ribbon
• 1 yard Silver Mini Sequin Trim 
• 10 Gold and 10 Silver Metallic Shapes

Inspire Create Challenge 012 - Hedgehugs

Did you take part in the last Challenge, I loved that sketch, it just made it so simple to put my card together. This time we have a Theme for you - Animals. As I have fallen in love with the Hedgehugs stamp set in the Spring Summer Catalogue, the choice was easy.

I thought I would make a fun and really cute card, which is perhaps not my usual style. I am so pleased with how it turned out. I really like the look of Poloroid photos, which are quite a 'thing' in Scrapbooking at the moment, so I thought I would borrow that style for this project.

A bit of simple masking and some colouring (both on the stamps and on the images) and it all came togethere really easily. Add some texture with the Dynamic Textured Impressions Scattered Sequins Embossing folder and it was done. And it is really cute, and I LOVE it.

January Customer Thank You Card

Oh of the joys of my life as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is showing my appreciation to my customers.

I think it is important to thank my customers if they are people I see face to face, but even more so if they are 'online' customers, who I only know through comments on YouTube or in my Customer Facebook Group. 

It fancinates me that some large stores seem to have forgotten the importance of Thanking Customers for shoping with them, I suppose it is because there are fewer and fewer shops and chains to chose from now, so we are a bit of a captive audience. But my customers could shop from any of the hundreds of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators in Europe, so it is doubly important for the to know that I really do appreciate them shoping with me.

I think the card is perfect for today too! Sharing a bit of Love is surely what today is all about.

January Customer Thank You Gift

I love all my customers, whether they spend a small amount, or a larger amount, they are all very special to me and I like to thank them for supporting me.

No matter how large or small an order a customer places with me, they will always be sent a little handmade gift from me, sometime it is sweets or chocolate, sometimes, as this month, it will be something a little more practical. Cut a piece of Cardstock that is the width of your notebook and at least 1-1/2" (4cm) longer than the length. Allow a small amount of overhang at the bottom of the front of the notebook, and then score at that point, add the depth of the notebook and score at that point also. Cut Designer Series Paper that is 1/4" (1cm) smaller than the dimensions of the front of your notebook.

Petal Passion Bright and Pretty Card for any Occasion

I stamped some images on Shimmer White Card in Memento Black Ink ages ago, ready to colour with my amazing Stampin Blends. I just forgot to do anything with the images!!

But I have finally got round to sorting our a card and I am really pleased with how it turned out. I gathered a few products together, turned on the camera and put them together to make this card. You can watch my thought process and see how easy it was in the video.

I seem to be going through a phase of just getting on with creating. Whether it is because I have had an enforced break and the creative juices are just flowing, or whether I am just more focused I don't know, I just hope it hangs around for a while, it makes me so much more productive!

Have you got any bits and pieces that you prepared 'just in case', but you still need to use? Go on, give it a go. You know you want to.

Oh, and I mention in my video that I am beginning to say goodbye to some of my favourite InColours before it is too late. February Craft Box Chocolate Box

The February Craft Box is already proving popular. Today I have a little Box for you that is perfect for presenting small bars of Chocolate in an elegant way.

Firstly though, I must apologise for the hiatus that meant I did not post yesterday. I have managed to pick up one of the many flu viruses that is doing the rounds in the UK at the moment and, although I shot the video for this and the next two projects before I succumbed, I did not manage to write the posts and do the other work that is require to bring these to you.

The box uses items from my February Craft Box, plus one of the optional stamp sets, You're Inspiring, to make this a perfect gift for Mother's Day. I have used one of the mini punches from the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack to make an interesting way of attaching the ribbon around the box. I love looking at different ways to use tools, and this little punch is perfect for all kinds of uses, not just as a 'melon slice'.

I coloured the daffodils with Blends in the original and Watercolour Pencils in the video version, so used the appropriate ink for each; Memento Tuxedo Black for Blends and Archival Basic Black for the Watercolour Pencils. Both inks need to be fully dry before you colour to avoid any bleeding.

Petal Palette White Out

Did Petal Palette White Out make you wonder? Today I am bringing you a project I have made that is inspired by a Challenge Group I stumbled across recently. This card does not meet the exact requirements for the challenge, but I loved the basic idea. Keep reading and I will let you know why I couldn't enter the challenge further on.

The basic Challenge was to create a card using only white and one neutral, in my case, grey. I love the idea, it is so close to my favourite sepia, but not, if you get what I mean. It pushed me just enough to be a challenge, without being too much of a push.

  

It actually came together in my mind first. Earlier this week I was not very well, so had to take a couple of days of bed rest, and it was while lying feeling sorry for myself that the design came together in my head. Happily it came together pretty much as I imagined it, which is not always the way things go.

I have to apologies for the video, which I shot before I was really back on my feet, so it is not one of my best, which is saying something, but then I do always promise that you get to see my projects, warts and all!!!!

Oh, and why did this not get entered? Because I needed to use a stam set that was at least a year old! Forgot that when I was putting it together in my head.
