Floral Statements - Hello Again. It seems a while since I last used this stamp set, but it has carried over to the new Annual Catalogue, so I had to break it out again and remind us all of just how fantastic it is.
I have changed it up a bit this time by stamping the 'Hello' on Glossy White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black (I used the Stamparatus, stamp positioning tool from Stampin' Up! - it is like the Misti, but better). By using the Stamparatus I was able to make sure that I got a really black image. Once it was really dry I coloured it using Stampin' Blends.
It is worth remembering that the Glossy Cardstock does not give you quite so much time to move the ink from the pens, so if you are going to try this, and I encourage you to do so, you may want to colour each flower/petal separately so the ink is still 'damp' when you add the next colour. In the video, for speed, I used each colour and then went back with the next - certainly quicker, but not such a perfect finish.
For
every £25 you spend in May AND use the Hostess Code, you will be
entered into a draw to win the Color Caddy and
all four of the Core Color Family Ink Pads (as shown in the
2017-18 Annual Catalogue) worth in excess of £200! If you place
orders of £50, you will get 2 entries, £75, you will get 3 entries
etc. BUT if you place a single order of over £150 and opt to be your
own Hostess (which means you pick how to spend your Rewards) you will
only get ONE entry into the draw. Please note that this is a gift
from me, and is non-returnable. The usual Customer Gifts will not be
effected by the Prize Draw, so if you use the Hostess Code you will
get a share of the Rewards, as usual. EVERYONE who shops with me will
receive a handmade card and gift in the middle of the following
month, regardless of how much you spend.

I was thrilled when the 3 x 3" envelopes carried over from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue, they are so cute and it is such fun to make these mini projects.
I thought I would tempt you with a couple of the new products you can start adding to your Wish List of new Products when the new Annual Catalogue goes live in about 5 weeks. As with yesterday's project, today's is made with products I was lucky enough to get when I was at OnStage earlier this month, from the Graceful Glass Suite. The Vellum is stunning, already embossed in shiny black, and perfect for colouring with Blends or Markers (be aware that the Markers will make the vellum curl a little, but they work beautifully.
These cards are so quick and easy to put together, just cut a piece of card at 3 x 6" (watch the video for a tip on the best direction to do this in - seriously, it makes a difference!), fold it in half and colour in your design in a couple of colours, or lots. add a stamped sentiment and some metallic thread and it is done, so quick and so effective.
As the products are not available to buy yet, there is no shopping list from me today, but that is no reason to not fill your shopping basket with retiring items before they go, particulary this month.
For
every £25 you spend in April AND use the Hostess Code, you will be
entered into a draw to win the Many Marvellous Markers, so if you
place orders of £50, you will get 2 entries, £75, you will get 3
entries etc. BUT if you place a single order of over £150 and opt to

Every now and again I like to make a really Clean and Simple Card; today is one of those days. I grabbed the Bird Banter Stamp Set and an Oval Stitched Shaped Framelets, and I was away.
I wanted this card to be one for my stash, so I thought a non-specific sentiment was called for, 'You're the kiind of Friend I'd Share my Branch With' seemed to fit the bill. In my mind this menat that I had to use the Branch Stamp, but did not want more than one bird on it. Now here's a secrect, the branch can be used in either direction! I know, who knew!!!!!
I selected the 'Elvis' bird and coloured him with just two colours, using the Pumpkin Pie and Bermuda Bay Duos, with a little help from the Colour Lifter. I cut the ovals before I stamped the image, sometimes that is just how I rock! Get it? Elvis bird, Rock!!! If you want all the Blends and some FREE extras, take a look at my Blends Club. A few Enamel Shapes in Bermuda Bay, the sentiment stamped in the middle of the card, layer it all up and you are done. Quick, Easy, Clean and Simple, because sometimes that is just what you need to do.

I know many of you would love to get your hands on the Stampin' Blends, but need to budget, so I am going to help you with that. I am launching my Stampin' Blends Club NOW. The full set of Stampin' Blends costs £108, that's £4 per pen, which is not expensive when compared with other alcohol markers, and the Blends haave the added advantage of matching our fantastic Stampin' Up! colours. But I do understand that is quite an outlay, so this is where my Blends Club comes in.
For just £32 a month, for three months, you can collect the whole set, and get 3 pens and an ink pad FREE. Each month you can select which 4 Duos you would like (the Club will only be available for Duos, not individual pens) and let me know which ones you would like. I will order these for you on about 25th of each month and send them out to you (FREE P&P) early the following month, the exact date will depend on how quickly they arrive with me. Orders must be placed with me, not via my online store. Please email me at liz.yuille@artlover.com with your order. For more details, watch the video:
The best ink to use with Blends is Memento Tuxedo Black, so in with your first month's Club Membership you will receive one from me, FREE. If you continue with the Club Membership you will receive the following FREE items: Month 2 - Colour Lifter Month 3 - Skin Tones, both Ivory and Bronze If your Membership is three consecutive months, in Month 3 you will also receive a FREE stamp set, which will be a Hostess set that I select, that I feel is a good set to use with Blends. You can join the Club at any time, so if you want to wait until April, that is fine, BUT, if you join in March and order additional product to make up a Qualifying Sale-a-Bration order, you will also receive a Sale-a-Bration item of your choice. So now all you have to do is choose your first 4 colour duos and drop me an email. Please note that the Blends Club is only available for UK addresses.
The Starter Kit is ALWAYS the best deal in the Catalogue and great value at just £99 for your choice of £130 of products (with no additional P&P), so you could get the whole set of Blends in this, plus extra products, all for just £99. Today I have some more of the second release Sale-a-Bration items from Stampin' Up! to show you, and they are fantastic.
Foiled Card, with Gold, Rose Gold and Silver foiling on a, not quite, gloss card, and I do mean card, this is not paper. The surface is slick and will take both Classic Ink/Stampin' Write Markers, and Blends. As the title of this post suggests, the paper is called Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is FREE with a qualifying order of just £45 before P&P.
Today I am showing you the effect with Blends, but I have another project coming soon, that uses the Stampin' Write Markers, and trust me when I say the result is stunning.
In the video I show you how to make the box frame, which once you get your head around the basic measurements, is really easy. That said, I have not yet worked out how to do the measurements in metric, I am working on it and will try to bring you a video soon with these. In the meantime, to calculate the size of card you need, decide on the inside measurement of your frame and then add 5", so in this example, the inside measurement of my frame was 3", so if you add 5" you need to start with a pice of card measuring 8 x 8".
Score on all sides as 1/2, 1, 1-1/2 and 2" then on the top and bottom score at 2-1/2", but only to the second score line from the edge. This is where you really need to watch the video to see what is cut away and what is left in place.
I hope you enjoy the project and have fallen in love with the Springtime Foil DSP as much as I have; this will be appearing in my shopping basket on more than one occassion I think!
Unfortunately the Showcase Builder I normally use for Stampin' Up! Products does not appear to have the Foil Paper listed just yet, so here is a direct link to my store for this item:

I stamped some images on Shimmer White Card in Memento Black Ink ages ago, ready to colour with my amazing Stampin Blends. I just forgot to do anything with the images!!
But I have finally got round to sorting our a card and I am really pleased with how it turned out. I gathered a few products together, turned on the camera and put them together to make this card. You can watch my thought process and see how easy it was in the video.
I seem to be going through a phase of just getting on with creating. Whether it is because I have had an enforced break and the creative juices are just flowing, or whether I am just more focused I don't know, I just hope it hangs around for a while, it makes me so much more productive!
Have you got any bits and pieces that you prepared 'just in case', but you still need to use? Go on, give it a go. You know you want to.
Oh, and I mention in my video that I am beginning to say goodbye to some of my favourite InColours before it is too late. Remember that if you need to stock up on any of the 2016-2018 Colours, you don't have long to do so, and there will come a point when stocks won't be replenished, so if you need those re-inkers, now is the moment to pop them in your basket - Remember
that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order
(if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new

Many apologies for having been 'Missing In Action' for a while. I am hoping I am back on track and crafty goodness will flow again now.
Just my luck to get food poisoning and flu one week after the other, and just as I had got myself reasonably ahead with my blog and YouTube. But enough of that, you want to know about the new Inspire Create Challenge.
This week we have a sketch to inspire you and to get the crafty mojo flowing. To be honest, I had forgotten that I was due to submit a design this week, my brain has really gone into slow mode, so I was a little concerned that I would struggle to get something put together, but do you know, it took less than an hour to come up with the idea, make the project and take the photos; don't you love it when that happens!
I know I shouldn't say it, but I am absolutely thrilled with the idea too. Using the Black and White Petal Passion Designer Series Paper and colouring in a strip across the middle with Stampin' Blends just works. Then add the die cut, and it all came together. I used the middle of the Silver Foil Matt for my die-cutting, so there was nothing wasted. It is an age since I used Rich Razzleberry, and I can tell you, it is starting a bit of a trend for me, so watch our for more of that very soon.
Please hop over to the Challenge Page, just click on the sketch above, and take a look at what the other Design Team Members have made of this sketch, they are an extremely talented group, so they will give you masses of inspiration. Then just link your project to the page and you never know, you may win!!

Quick, easy and stylish! What more could you want in a card?
Do you know, I almost forgot I had included the Delicate Doilies in the February Craft Box! They are so pretty and the perfect way to take a simple card up a notch.
Just like yesterday, I have used both Watercolour Pencils and Blends for the stamped element of these cards, just so you can see the difference (not that there is much difference). The key to using both of these is to use the right ink and to make sure that it is properly dry before you go to do any colouring.
I love the simple background to these cards, it is really easy, in fact you can't go wrong with it, just some simple tone on tone stamping.
I hope today's project brings some sunshine to your day. Remember that if you are in the UK and want to reserve your February Craft Box, just drop me an email. If you want any Stampin' Up! products, I would be most appreciative if you shopped with me. I am hoping to earn the Incentive Trip this year, but have a long way to go. Every order you place with me gets me a little closer to a Greek Island Cruise.
Remember

The February Craft Box is already proving popular. Today I have a little Box for you that is perfect for presenting small bars of Chocolate in an elegant way.
Firstly though, I must apologise for the hiatus that meant I did not post yesterday. I have managed to pick up one of the many flu viruses that is doing the rounds in the UK at the moment and, although I shot the video for this and the next two projects before I succumbed, I did not manage to write the posts and do the other work that is require to bring these to you.
The box uses items from my February Craft Box, plus one of the optional stamp sets, You're Inspiring, to make this a perfect gift for Mother's Day. I have used one of the mini punches from the Itty Bitty Fruit Punch Pack to make an interesting way of attaching the ribbon around the box. I love looking at different ways to use tools, and this little punch is perfect for all kinds of uses, not just as a 'melon slice'.
I coloured the daffodils with Blends in the original and Watercolour Pencils in the video version, so used the appropriate ink for each; Memento Tuxedo Black for Blends and Archival Basic Black for the Watercolour Pencils. Both inks need to be fully dry before you colour to avoid any bleeding.
