May Craft Box - Just in time for Father's Day, which is on 17th June, and is so often ignored! I know Mothering Sunday is a day that the UK has marked tradtionally for decades (on a totally different day from much of the world - because in the UK it is based on a Tradition), but I do think that our Father's are often ignored. Let's change that this year!

I know I am late bringing you the May Craft Box, unfortunately life caught up with me and there was no avoiding it, but I have a fantastic selection for you this month. As every, the contents of the Box exceeds £20, however, it is yours for just £20 delivered by Royal Mail 1st Class to your door in a letter box friendly box (so you don't need to be in to get yours). P&P is included in the price. To order full quantities of the items would cost over £75, you an get the perfect amount of each for just £20! All the contents are carefully packaged in storage bags, wrapped in my signature Sunflower Yellow tissue paper, boxed and sealed in my signature envelope. April Craft Box - Memories and More Memories

Anyone who has known me for any length of time will know that I am passionate about Memory Keeping. Particularly in the age of digital everything, I believe it is vital that we record not only the milestones of our lives, but also the mundane and everyday. It is our gift to future generations. 

My April Craft Box has a mix of Designer Series Paper and Memories & More cards, along with lots of other products. I made a deliberate choice to include the cards both to for those who may find stamping a bit of a challenge, but also for those interested in Memory Keeping. Today I bring you a very quick 6 x 8" Pocket Page to you. This records Midsummer Morning a couple of years ago. It is simple and uncluttered, but is perfect as an introduction of just how easy it is to put these pages together. And it is a reminder that summer will be with us soon, I hope!

I always encourage people to record their thought about the event in their own handwriting, no matter how untidy it may be, it is part of you and part of social history. Just take a look at how handwriting has changed in the past 100 years, but also look at how your writing has changed in the past 20.

Such an easy page to put together, but a great little record of an event that at the time was very special, but could pass into the back of my mind if I did not take the few moments to record it.

April Craft Box Notecard

Hello again. Welcome back, I hope you are enjoying seeing some projects made with the contents of this month's Craft Box.

Today I have a Note Card for you using some of the optional extras available as add-ons, this time the dies, stamps (best bought as a bundle, saving 10% on the combined price) and the embossing folders.

It is a cute card, quick and easy to make, just a few die cuts, some quick stamping and some embossing. I have added some stamping to the inside of the card and the envelope; I think it adds so much to the project to have it all tie toegether.

I love the subtlty of the monochrome with just a hint of colour using the Powder Pink, nothing too gaudy, but lifting the starkness of just Black and White.

Petal Passion Craft Box Project With Memories & More

Welcome back! Did you find yesterday's Blog Hop interesting? I do hope you enjoyed all the projects, and boy there were lots to look at!

Today I am sharing the first of my projects using the April Craft Box goodies. I am loving just how quickly you can put a card together without the need to get any stamps inky, but still have a great sentiment on the outside and the indide of your card.

I used the Blender Pen with Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist to colour the floral image. I love how you can get some shading with the Blender Pen, just by not over inking it. I cut both the floral card and the card I used for the inside, down to my usual measurements (see below for those) and glued them to a standard A6 Basic Black Cardbase. 

I trimmed out the sentiment from one of the smaller cards, saving the other piece for another project. I 'flagged' the end of the sentiment and then adhered it towards the bottom of the card with some dimensionals, added a few Pearls and the card was done. Really quick, really easy!

Picture Perfect Party Mini Gift Bag

Today is the last project using items from my March Gift Box. That is not to say that the Picture Perfect Party Suite won't be seen herre again, but if it is I will use additional items.

If you have followed me for any length of time, you will know that chocolate and I do not get on well, but I accept that others enjoy it, some enjoy it a LOT! So today's gift bag has two or three mini chocolates in it (the metric version has two, the imperial three - just saying you get more with the imperial!)

I have actully made both metric and imperial versions and they are in the pictures. They are slightly different sizes, but I went with 'sensible' measurements in each measurement system.

Add a punched circle to help keep everythign together, a binder clip, some ribbon and trim, a bit of stamping and we are done. and they are so cute.

Fabulous You Picture Perfect Party Craft Box Card

I have another non-Birthday card for you again today. I really am trying to convince you that the Perfect Picture Birthday stamp set is not just for Birthdays.

This card is a lot brighter than the one I brought you a couple of days ago, and that was bright enough. This card uses the Layering Square Dies to cut the frame, but the square for the stamping was cut on the trimmer.

I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper and added a narrow strip of Glimmer Paper underneath the right edge, having furst punched it with the Ticket Tear Border Punch. Add a ribbon bow and some metallic shapes and the card is pretty much done.

Celebrate the Good Stuff

I am always delighted to mark a milestone for a member of my Team, so being able to mark two in one week is extra special for me.

As I am just launching my March Craft Box, it is a perfect excuse to use some of the items from that kit to make cards marking this special moment. The project is also a great example that the kit is not just for Birthdays. The main sentiment on the front of the card is 'Celebrate the Good Stuff' and inside I used 'Cue the Confetti', neither of which is even slightly Birthday.

There is no die set to go with the stamps, but none of the images are difficult ot fussy cut, so I would encourage you to give it a go. And look out for the trick with the spaghetti; you will have to watch the video to see what I am talking about.

It's Time for the March Craft Box Launch!

I am beginning to really love this time every month. Sharing the contents of the box I have put together is a special time and the reactions I have had have been amazing.

I am delighted to announce details of the March Craft Box. I have curated this with a view to it being totally flexible for any happy occasion. It is based on the Picture Perfect Party Suite, and includes most of the items available in that Suite, plus a few additional items.

The box is, as last month, £20 including P&P and contains product to a value of about £20, which basically means that P&P is FREE. If you order any Optional Extra, I will include a sheet of Multi Purpose Adhesive, just as a little 'Thank you'. Order ALL of the Optional Extras you will qualify for a Level One Sale-a-Bration Item to be included in your package, just let me know what you want when you email me. PLEASE NOTE that if you opt for the 12 x 12 Springtime Foils or any of the wood mounted stamp sets, your package will be sent by Hermes, not Royal Mail, due to the increased postal charges.

Please note, if you wish to pay by cheque, this will need to be with me no later than 1st March to allow for banking. Shipping should be by 13th March (shipping from Stampin' Up! permitting).

This is only available for posting in the UK, you need to email me to order and payment will be to me, in advance of the order being placed and sent out. Postage is by Royal Mail First Class and as the box is Letter Box friendly, there should be no reason why it can't be delivered even if you are out. If you opt for all the optional extras and then certain Sale-a-Bration items, then I will use Hermes to avoid having to charge you for additional postal costs.
