Picture Perfect Party Mini Gift Bag

Today is the last project using items from my March Gift Box. That is not to say that the Picture Perfect Party Suite won't be seen herre again, but if it is I will use additional items.

If you have followed me for any length of time, you will know that chocolate and I do not get on well, but I accept that others enjoy it, some enjoy it a LOT! So today's gift bag has two or three mini chocolates in it (the metric version has two, the imperial three - just saying you get more with the imperial!)

I have actully made both metric and imperial versions and they are in the pictures. They are slightly different sizes, but I went with 'sensible' measurements in each measurement system.

Add a punched circle to help keep everythign together, a binder clip, some ribbon and trim, a bit of stamping and we are done. and they are so cute.

Fabulous You Picture Perfect Party Craft Box Card

I have another non-Birthday card for you again today. I really am trying to convince you that the Perfect Picture Birthday stamp set is not just for Birthdays.

This card is a lot brighter than the one I brought you a couple of days ago, and that was bright enough. This card uses the Layering Square Dies to cut the frame, but the square for the stamping was cut on the trimmer.

I cut a piece of Designer Series Paper and added a narrow strip of Glimmer Paper underneath the right edge, having furst punched it with the Ticket Tear Border Punch. Add a ribbon bow and some metallic shapes and the card is pretty much done.

Celebrate the Good Stuff

I am always delighted to mark a milestone for a member of my Team, so being able to mark two in one week is extra special for me.

As I am just launching my March Craft Box, it is a perfect excuse to use some of the items from that kit to make cards marking this special moment. The project is also a great example that the kit is not just for Birthdays. The main sentiment on the front of the card is 'Celebrate the Good Stuff' and inside I used 'Cue the Confetti', neither of which is even slightly Birthday.

There is no die set to go with the stamps, but none of the images are difficult ot fussy cut, so I would encourage you to give it a go. And look out for the trick with the spaghetti; you will have to watch the video to see what I am talking about.

Thank You from the Bottom of my Heart!

I woke up on Monday morning to find a message from one of my regular YouTube Subscribers congratulating me for reaching 3,000 Subscribers! Is there a better way to start a week?

I had been keeping an eye on the subscriber numbers, but I had been out most of Sunday and did not know I was so close. What can I say, other than 'Thank You so much' I really am so grateful for all the support you have given me in the last year or so, in all seriousness, I would not be at this point without your help.

I signed up as a Stampin' Up! Demo at the end of July 2016 knowing that I was planning on giving up full time work later that year. The plan was that would start my own business to supplement my pension (which would be small as I was going to take it early). I started in earnest in early 2017, so here I am, just over a year later and I cannot beleive how much has changed.

I am still have paid employment, but part-time and from home, so that allows me to spend time on my real passion, which is sharing my love of papercraft. I now have a Team of other Demonstrators, and very soon we will be in double figures!!

But it is not all about supplementing my income, or building a Team. There is the discount I get on all the amazing products Stampin' Up! tempt us with, and most importantly, there are all the fantastic people I have met; other Demonstrators, customers, class attendees. All of them wonderful people with one thing in common. Having fun making amazing projects with high quality papercraft supplies.

It's Time for the March Craft Box Launch!

I am beginning to really love this time every month. Sharing the contents of the box I have put together is a special time and the reactions I have had have been amazing.

I am delighted to announce details of the March Craft Box. I have curated this with a view to it being totally flexible for any happy occasion. It is based on the Picture Perfect Party Suite, and includes most of the items available in that Suite, plus a few additional items.

The box is, as last month, £20 including P&P and contains product to a value of about £20, which basically means that P&P is FREE. My intention is that I will stick at this price point unless there is an increase in postal charges. To purchase full quantities of the contents of the Craft box would cost a minimum of £106.75 plus P&P (I was staggered when I did the maths on this!)

The March Craft Box will contain:

• 1/2 a pack of DSP (24 6x6 sheets)
• 10 Whisper White Notecards and Envelopes

PLEASE NOTE that if you opt for the 12 x 12 Springtime Foils or any of the wood mounted stamp sets, your package will be sent by Hermes, not Royal Mail, due to the increased postal charges.

A Good Day for a Rainbow

I really seem to have got the Rainbow Bug, here is a second card in only a few days, that uses the classic Rainbow Colour Scheme.

I am using some of the Springtime Foil Specialty paper from the Second Release of Sale-a-Bration Items, it is really wonderful, and great for using with all of your colouring tools. This time I have used the Stampin' Write Markers, which work really well on the foils. The colour sits on the whit paper well, but beads off the foil, so you can just wipe it away with a piece of kitchen paper and reveal the stunning foil.

The stamp set is one of those hidden gems, it covers so many occasions and works with the new scalloped circle punches to make some really cute cards - in this case a plea for some sunshine. I have used Basic Grey to stamp the outlines of the images as it gives a softer look, which is what I wanted for this card.

I used some of the off cuts from the Painted Love 12 x 12 cardstock pack, which were left from the last Rainbow card I made and shared with you over the weekend. You can get four 4 x 4" cards from one 12 x 12 " sheet of card, and still have a piece of 4 x 4" cardstock left, it really is a great way to use your 12 x 12" card.

Inspire Create Challenge 012 - Hedgehugs

Did you take part in the last Challenge, I loved that sketch, it just made it so simple to put my card together. This time we have a Theme for you - Animals. As I have fallen in love with the Hedgehugs stamp set in the Spring Summer Catalogue, the choice was easy.

I thought I would make a fun and really cute card, which is perhaps not my usual style. I am so pleased with how it turned out. I really like the look of Poloroid photos, which are quite a 'thing' in Scrapbooking at the moment, so I thought I would borrow that style for this project.

A bit of simple masking and some colouring (both on the stamps and on the images) and it all came togethere really easily. Add some texture with the Dynamic Textured Impressions Scattered Sequins Embossing folder and it was done. And it is really cute, and I LOVE it.
