I warn you, I am going through a bit of a mini album phase at the moment, so there will be a few coming out over the next few weeks; this is the first, and is my customer gift for those who ordered from me in April as a way to show off the papers.
I decided that the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper would be perfect for this first version as it is a heavier weight paper (it is almost a card weight) and is beautiful double sided paper, which you need for this project. This is not a new project, there are any number of them on YouTube, but it is worthy of repeating, in my opinion. You only need one sheet of paper, just make sure that both patterns work in any direction or it will look a little odd. There are just a few scored lines and one cut, a small amount of fairly easy gluing and that is pretty much it. I have added a magnetic closure (I used larger magnets than I usually do, so these are 1cm x 1mm, rather than my usual 8mm x 1mm), but you could easily use a belly band or ribbon closure instead.
This is probably a project you need to watch the video for in order to fully understand how to put it together a it is easy to watch, but complicated to explain - I will try further down this post. I have used the exclusive Statement of My Heart stamp, which is only available in the Gotta Have it All Share What You Love Bundle (see details below).

But I spotted these little bars of Green & Black Velvet Edition and thought I had to buy them for my special group. I was particularly drawn to the colours as they seemed to be perfect for the True Gentleman Designer Series Papers.

It was fun to get my Envelope Punch Board out again as it has been a while since I last had a chance to use it. I am a great fan of notebooks, I have dozens of the in all shapes and sizes, although I never seem to have on to hand when I need one. I am thinking the solution to this is to make my own!
I have a long reach stapler, so theoretically I can make any size, only limited by the size of the card and paper used to make them. But I want them to fit in a half wood stamp case, so I am looking at small notebooks.
The finished size is 3-1/4 x 4-1/2" (8 x 11cm), it is so cute. You can either make the cover with card, covered in Designer Series Paper, Stamped Cardstock, or Specialty Designer Series Paper, the choice is yours. Add your pages, (these do need to be quite a bit smaller on the long edge to allow for the fold) staple together and then add your ribbon and a stamped sentiment, and you are done!
These are perfect for children's party favours, Craft Fairs, Table Gifts at Crafty Workshops, the list goes on. And the only special equipment is the long reach stapler - mine was under £10 on Amazon and came with some staples.

I have to thank the Kitchen Table Stamper in the US for the idea behind this little treat box. She has taken the Lots to Love Box Dies and turned them into a small box in a really easy way. Having fallen in love with the box, I knew this had to be the container for the gift I was going to send to everyone who shopped with me in February, so I trawled the shops and found the perfect sweet treat to go in them; and the colours work so well too. You will have to watch the video to see what it is.
So the box is made with just one of the large die cuts from the set. Add a 1/16" shim to the left side of your score board and then score at 2-1/4 and 2-3/4" (5.7 and 7cm) ,this will form the base of your mini box. All the other details are on the video.
The 'Thank You So Much' sentiment from A Good Day is perfect for customer gifts, and a little bit of bling with the Gold Foil and Gold Metallic Enamel Shapes dresses the box up just enough. Add a bit of ribbon and you are done. I hope my customers enjoy the box and the contents. I certainly had a great time making them while watching a bit of TV.
I really enjoy making my Thank You cards and gifts and send these to everyone that shops with me, however large or small the order, everyone gets the same gift. Cut a piece of Cardstock that is the width of your notebook and at least 1-1/2" (4cm) longer than the length. Allow a small amount of overhang at the bottom of the front of the notebook, and then score at that point, add the depth of the notebook and score at that point also. Cut Designer Series Paper that is 1/4" (1cm) smaller than the dimensions of the front of your notebook.
