April Craft Box Notecard

Hello again. Welcome back, I hope you are enjoying seeing some projects made with the contents of this month's Craft Box.

Today I have a Note Card for you using some of the optional extras available as add-ons, this time the dies, stamps (best bought as a bundle, saving 10% on the combined price) and the embossing folders.

It is a cute card, quick and easy to make, just a few die cuts, some quick stamping and some embossing. I have added some stamping to the inside of the card and the envelope; I think it adds so much to the project to have it all tie toegether.

I love the subtlty of the monochrome with just a hint of colour using the Powder Pink, nothing too gaudy, but lifting the starkness of just Black and White.

Bubbling Over Inspiration Pun

I recently received an invitation to an event at our local Molton Brown store in Oxford (which I went to and it was fantastic) and the invitation was the inspiration for today's card. I truly get my inspiratoin from everywhere.

I lifted pretty much everything from the invitation. The colour scheme, the placement, all of it. What I really like about it, is that it shows that the Bottle stamps and dies can be used for really feminine projects as well as bold, masculine projects. I don't think you could get a more feminine project that this.

Using a soft colour scheme with vellum, metallic thread and embossing, I am thrilled with how this turned out. I have used two slightly different colour schemes for the cardbase and mat, I like them both, which do you prefer, it would be great to hear from you.

I love our Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folders, they really do give extra dimension, and the Layered Leaves is one of my absolute favourites for any project that includes florals or leaves, such as this one. The nearest embossing folder to the original invitation is the Garden Trellis, but as I don't have that one.......

Oh, and why do I think this is a pun? Because the invitation had pictures of Bubble Bath! I know, not great sense of humour, but it has already been a long week!

Happy Wishes FREE Stamp Set during Sale-a-Bration

How can I express in the written word how excited I am by this stamp set and the project I have designed with it. And it really is not too complicated, just a bit of heat embossing and some stamping.

This project does use quite a few products, but it does mean that if you order them all from my Online Store, you ca pick the stamp set for FREE; that's a two box set of red rubber stamps FREE!

I seem to have hit a bit of a sepia phase again, it has been a while, but I think it will always be a style that will come back to me, whether it's that I have so many old family photos, or something else, I really don't know, but it feels like home.

Lots of Lavender Layered Card

I don't seem to have made any cards with simple lines for a while now, I think it might be because there are just soooo many new things to play with. Today I am putting this to rights with a simple layered card that, given it has a few stamps to make up the image, came together in almost no time at all.
