The Perfect Starter Kit for New Stampers

This is the second in my occasional series on Starter Kits, and today I am sharing my thoughts on a perfect Starter Kit for a New Stamper.

Why do I think this is a perfect set for a New Stamper? Well just look at what I have included, there are LOTS of ink pads, a whole card making kit, which includes a clear block that works with ALL the other stamps I have selected for you. There's ribbon, foil, patterned paper, watercolour pencils, and so much more.

The total of what I have selected would cost you £188.50, plus £4.95 Postage and Packing, but if you test drive the Starter Kit before the end of March, you would get all of this delivered to your door for just £99.00. That's it, nothing else, no hidden postage charges, no VAT to add, all of that for just £99.00 to your door.

And it gets even better you will then get at least 20% discount off any product you order until the end of June. That includes being able to order new Annual Product a month earlier than if you are a customer, at a discount!! Can it get any better?

Well, I think so for a number of reasons, firstly, in the unlikely event that you decide that this really is not for you, then you get to keep everything you have ordered. No one will come round and take all your lovely products back, you get to keep it all. But if you want to continue as a Demonstrator, you can either just keep getting the discount (subject to meeting very low quarterly minimums), or you can start to share your passion with others and earn money from any orders that people place with you. Win, win!

So all you need to do is click the link below:

If your order is over £25 (plus P&P), please use the Hostess Code:

To share in the Hostess Rewards for this month AND become a VIP. If your order is over £150 (plus P&P), please don't use the Hostess Code as you will get to pick your own rewards, but don't worry, you will still become a VIP Reward Member.

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!), so if now is not the right time to join, just pop over to my store, by clicking the Sunflower above.

Until the end of March I am running a FREE Prize Draw for UK residents. If you sign up to my Newsletter between now and 31st March, you will be entered in the draw for a mini Craft Kit, with lots of lovely goodies in it including Notecards & Envelopes, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon and Embellishments. Please include your postal address if you wish to be entered into the Draw. Entry to the Draw is not open to under 18s or Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Just complete the form at the very bottom of this page

Covered Note Book Gift. Let me show you how easy this is to do.

I shared a covered note book that I send out as a Gift, last week. I have been asked by a few people to show you how I cover the book, so here we go. It is really easy, trust me on this.

Welcome Gift Covered Book. Let me show you how easy this is to do.

I use a standard Exercise Book as the base, which happens to to be the perfect size to use a half sheet of Designer Series Paper. So I just cut this at 6" and stick to the front of the book with Fast Fuse, lining it up at the top of the book. I then trim the bottom off the paper and save this for later when it comes to covering the chocolate bar I include in my Gift Pack.

I add a piece of ribbon around the spine, a few appropriate Die Cuts to the front (using the wonderful Multi-purpose adhesive sheets to make it REALLY easy!) and it is done. As I said at the beginning, this is really easy.

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!).

The Starter Kit is ALWAYS the best deal in the Catalogue and great value at just £99 for your choice of £130 of products (with no additional P&P). Once you are a Member of this great Family, you get a discount on your future purchases, or an income from sales you make to other people; Win,Win Right? Join my Team between 3rd January and 31st March 2018 and you will get even more in your Starter Kit. Seriously, you will get to chose any Full Price (not Hostess or Sale-a-Bration) Stamp Sets of YOUR choice to add in addition. That could be as much as £90 more for your £99. Over £200 of products for just £99.

No Gift is complete without the Tag

Over the past couple of days I have shown you the Gift Box and Card that I made for one of my amazing Team Members who reached her first Quarterly Minimums. But every Gift needs a Tag, right? So now it is time to show you that.

Anyone who knows me knows that I think the way you wrap a present is almost as important as the present itself, possibly more so. If you spend time choosing the perfect gift for someone, why not spend time wrapping it perfectly too? That means including a Tag as well as a Card.

gift tag amazing you myths & Magic

Tags are also a perfect way of using up little scraps of card and paper, so why not put those pieces to good use. This tag uses up some of the off cuts from the base of the box I made and a scrap of Whisper White, which I always have a pile of.

It is really easy to get a pretty shape to your tag if you use the Scallop Tag Topper Punch; it does all the work for you, just leaving you to round the corners at the bottom with any corner rounder (and of course the Envelope Punch Board has one of those too). Some simple stamping, a few embellishments add a short piece of the pretty Silver Baker's Twine from teh new Spring/Summer Catalogue and the Tag is done. Simple but effective.

Oh, and did I mention that the Stamp Set was FREE!

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!).

So, jump over to my online store and get your FREE gifts NOW!

Team Gifts and Cards give me Joy

Wrapping a gift is great fun, but so is making the card. Yesterday you saw me do the former, so today it is time to make the card.

Now you will have to forgive me, but I did have a bit of a senior moment part way through the video. I would have put money on having used the double sided adhesive sheet on the Glimmer Paper, but I clearly didn't, as you will see.

I did enjoy pulling lots of bright colours and using the FREE dies from the Sale-a-bration catalogue for the wording.

I am really quite pleased with the result, particularly as I know the recipient well, so knew she will appreciate the thought.

If you are wondering about the gift tag I didn't get round to making yesterday, come back tomorrow and you will see that and the complete package.

I really do find such joy in celebrating my Team Members' success,.

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!).

Team Gifts are a fantastic part of my Business

Yesterday I told you how I welcome new members to my team, but I do so much more than that.
One of the best events for me is when one of my Team hits a Milestone.

Whether that is a first Milestone of hitting their first quarterly minimum or something more, like promoting, it will be time for a celebration and a gift from me.

Myths and Magic handmade gift box for a Team member

Today starts the process of putting together a gift package for one of my Team who has just hit her first quarterly minimum. I have put together a little pack of goodies and want to make a box to present them in. She loves Unicorns and Mermaids, so the Myths and Magic Suite were an obvious choice.

I chose the Mermaid paper, which is more a lightweight card, and matched it with Berry Burst Cardstock and Finely Woven Ribbon. I measured the dimensions I needed for the box base and sides and used these to calculate the size of card. In this case I needed the base of the box to be 6 x 5" (15 x 12.5) and the sides to be 2" (5cm). This meant I needed my card to be 10 x 9" (25 x 22.5cm)

As this is a box with a lid, I wanted to make sure that they were a snug fit, but not too tight. To do this I find it easiest to just trim 1/16" (1.5mm) from the top and side of the base. I then scored each side on my Simply Scored Board at 2" (5cm), turning it each time. The lid was scored at 7/8" and 2" (2.25 x 5cm) to allow for the lid to be reinforced.

Having constructed the box it was then a simple case of filling it with my signature yellow tissue paper and the present before tying it all together with ribbon and a bow.
Come back tomorrow to see the card I made to go with the present.

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!).

Joining my Team gives me the excuse to send out Treats!

Whenever anyone joins my Team I get really excited because I love my Team growing, but it is also an excuse for me to craft! Not that I really need an excuse to craft, but focused crafting is something I am less good at. A new Team member means I can make them a card to welcome them. I cover and decorate a notebook and wrap up a little bar of chocolate (I get that I am in a minority when it comes to liking chocolate, or in my case not).

But I also send some bite sized bits of information about finding your feet when you first sign up as a Demonstrator. How to get started if you want to run classes or parties, or just getting together with a few friends and crafting together.

My team are not all local, so I also let new members know how I keep in touch with them, and more importantly, how they can contact me if they have any questions. I also arrange Team meetings, both in person and via Facebook Live. I want my Team to know I am there for them if they need help, but I also want them to help each other. We can all learn something new, so sharing ideas and inspiration is very important.

Now that you have heard a little more about my Team, why not give the Starter Kit a test drive and see if being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator is the right thing for you. Remember that during Sale-a-Bration you not only get to pick £130 of product of your choice, you can also add any 2 stamp sets from the Annual or Spring/Summer Catalogues FREE, which means your Starter Kit could be worth over £200. Remember, you only pay £99, including Postage and Packaging.

The sooner you take your Test Drive the longer you are guaranteed to get your 20% Discount on all your orders, without any obligation. You will have until the end of June to meet your first Quarterly minimum, which means as a Demonstrator you can order from the new Annual Catalogue in May, a month ahead of Customers.

Just get the list of what you want in your Personal Starter Kit, and then click here:

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!).
