Better late than never, I have finally finished putting together the Forever Evergreen Project Kit. I bought it months ago, but got so tied up on other things, I sort of forgot I had it! But I love it!
The plan always was to put these (not so) little guys on the window ledge in our kitchen. Originally this was a window on to the outside, but the previous owners of our house had an enclosed porch built, so now you see through between the two. So as our guests arrive they will be greeted with these, oh so pretty, trees.
Perfect! Once I started making this kit up it did not take that long, and would be a great project to do with any children in the family (there are a few small pieces and some slightly fiddly bits that Mum and Dad may wish to help with). The kit will be retiring on 3rd January, so you could order it now ready for next year. The item number is 142994, so why not pop over to my shop and get ahead for next Christmas!
Have a great Christmas weekend and if you are in Scotland or the North, keep safe in the high winds.
A very quick post
today, mostly to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New
Year. But this would not be a post from me without a quick project
too, so here is a little bit of inspiration in case you need some
last minute Christmas Cards and you are pretty much out of Christmas
supplies.
This card uses the two
weights of Whisper White Cardstock we do, plus a feature colour matt,
in this case, Mint Macaron. The image of the row of trees is stamped
three times from one inking of the stamp, so one full strength, and
the other two, off set and moved up the cardstock, using the residual
ink, so the final one is very feint. This helps to give a sense of
depth of field to the card. The single tree on the left is stamped in
Versamark and then heat embossed with Silver powder, a sentiment is
added on the left in Emerald Envy and it is done. I love the final
effect that the three generations of ink gives and ink it makes a
perfect Christmas card.
I then started playing
with other colours, using up some bits and pieces of card I had in my
off-cuts bag and I think these are perfect for Thank You cards, which
we all be needing in a few days! These are made using Soft Suede
(with Kraft matt), Smoky Slate (with Basic Grey Matt), Flirty
Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Marina Mist (these are all on the
matching colour matt). The sentiment is from the Floral Phrases stamp
set.
I love all of these and
hope you do too.
I hope you are enjoying
these projects. If you are, then why not subscribe to my blog so you
don't miss anything. If you enjoy the videos you should also
subscribe to my YouTube channel so you are alerted to any new
projects I have put together for you.
Remember that on 4th
January the Spring/Summer Catalogue goes live, as does
Sale-A-Bration. So do pop back to see projects using the new
products. I have family staying from tomorrow, so am not sure when I
will be able to join you again, but with luck I will have some sneak
peaks for you before the go live date.
Welcome to the last day
of the Twelve Tags of Christmas. I thought I would save some special
techniques for this last project. The inspiration for this came from
US Demo, Rick Adkins, who has a card using some of these techniques,
specifically some shadow stamping, with embossing. I have used this as
the inspiration, but turned it into a Tag, which includes trick with
extending the size of a Framelit. Pop down to the Video below to see
how these all work.
Other than the slightly
more advanced techniques, this is a very simple tag, and all the
better for that I think. I love the colour scheme and the clean look
that this all gives.
At the end of today's
video you will see a (very) quick review of the other tags in this
series, including me having a bit of a panic that I am not able to
count to twelve!! I really hope you have enjoyed this series and that
you have found it fun and useful. Please let me know if you would
like me to take a bit more time going over any of the techniques we
have touched on; I would be happy to take a little time going through
some of these in a bit more detail if that helps you.
I wish you all a very
Happy Christmas and New Year and pray that you will all keep safe and
well.
If you would like to
order any of the products, or anything else, please pop over to my
shop, which is open 24/7/365. Remember to use the Hostess Code if
your order is over £20 and under £150 (both excluding P&P), so
you can get some extra crafting goodies free from me.
So pop on over to my
shop now and fill that bag with Lots of Pretty Things!
MEASUREMENTS:
Night of Navy Cardstock
– 2-1/2 x at least 5 inches (6.2 x at least 13cm). The short
measurement is VERY important for this, but the long length can be as
long as you like, just at least that given.
Only one more project
after today. I really hope you have enjoyed this series so far and
that you have fond some of the hints and tips I have shared helpful.
Today we are using a hostess stamp set. I hesitated before using
this, as you are only able to get it with a qualifying order of at
least £150, but then I thought some of you may already have it and
may want some additional ideas, so here you are.
This project uses as
number of punches as well, one of which, the Jolly Hat Builder Punch,
is retiring after 3 January 2017 – but it is currently still
available at a discount, so if you want it, now is the moment to grab
it before it is gone! Happily, the Owl Builder Punch is from the
Annual Catalogue, so is certainly with us until the middle of next
year – Hurrah!!
Today is definitely a
day of using up some scraps, there is only one piece of cardstock
that has measurements, the rest are very small scraps. I am also
showing you how to use Stampin' Markers to do multi-coloured
stamping, and how to make sure your Photopolymer stamps are prepared
to work well with this technique. I have used Real Red and Soft Suede markers for the main colouring, but you could use Crumb Cake instead of the Soft Suede, which are currently available as a duo, which I have added in the list below. alongside the colour family sets.
If you would like to
place an order, remember to use the Hostess Code if your order is
over £20 and under £150 (both excluding P&P), so you can get
some extra crafting goodies free from me, all on-line orders with get
a Thank You card and a little something, but the hostess code means
you get the extra crafty bits too. So pop on over to my shop now and
fill that bag with Lots of Pretty Things!
MEASUREMENTS:
Thick Whisper White
Cardstock – 2 x 4-1/4inches (5 x 10.5cm)
Red and Dazzling
Diamonds Glimmer Paper – scraps for punching
We are entering the
final stretch of this series, with project Ten. This tag stands out
for me, partly because if its simplicity, but also because it is the
only one of the projects so far that uses Very Vanilla Cardstock.
This gives the project a much warmer feel to it I think, and I like
it, particularly at this time of the year when it can either be cold
and crisp (which I love) or damp (which I think makes me feel colder,
even if it is actually not as cold).
Minimal supplies again
today, with just two colours of card, two ink pads and some of my
favourite punches – go on, I must have convinced you that you NEED
the Scallop Tag Topper Punch by now!
If you place an order
in my on-line store by the end of today, 16th December I
will automatically send you the new Spring-Summer and Sale-a-Bration
Catalogues so you have them to pour over between Christmas and New
Year (Royal Mail permitting!!) So pop on over to my shop now and fill
that bag with Lots of Pretty Things! Remember to use the Hostess Code
if your order is over £20 and under £150 (both excluding P&P),
so you can get some extra crafting goodies free from me.
MEASUREMENTS:
Craft Cardstock – 2 x
4-1/4inches (5 x 10.5cm)
Very Vanilla Cardstock
– 1-3/4 x 3-1/4inches (4.5 x 8cm) and a scrap
Welcome to day nine of
the Twelve Tags of Christmas. Today involves no stamping at all, but
uses Designer Series Paper in the staring role. The Candy Cane Lane
Paper has been a favourite with a lot of people, not least of all
yours truly. I ordered more packs than I care to admit to, and only
have four sheets and a few scraps left – and I still need at least
two of the full sheets for a couple of projects. At the time of
recording, the paper was still available in the UK, but I believe it
has gone in the USA and is not going to be reordered as it is on the
Retiring list.
So today is more about
skills with cutting out than stamping. There is a small amount of Big
Shot work, a bit of inking, and then you are done. Quick, Easy,
Beautiful!
If you place an order
in my on-line store by the end of today, 16th December I
will automatically send you the new Spring-Summer and Sale-a-Bration

MEASUREMENTS:
Crumb Cake Cardstock –
2-1/2 x 3inches (6.5 x 7.5cm)
Candy Cane Lane
Designer Series Paper Scraps – one with a house, the other with
snow (if you want to follow the project exactly) – 2-1/2 x 3inches
(6.5 x 7.5cm)
Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Eight, so getting nearer to
the end of this series. Today is a twist on a traditional colour
scheme, using the cooler green tones of Emerald Envy and Mint
Macaron, both of which feature in the Presents and Pinecones Designer
Washi Tape that also appears on this tag. I am using an old
favourite for the stamping – Lovely as a Tree. This is a great
stamp set that covers almost every season.
Today there is some
very simple masking off to ensure that there is nothing to interrupt
the beauty of the washi tape, giving it a real featuring role in the
tag. I have also used a slightly different way to attach the ribbon
to the tag.
As for all of this
series, we are only using small pieces of cardstock again, so great
for using up a few scraps.
I hope you enjoy this
project and look forward to seeing you for the remainder of the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. You will find the measurements and list of
products used below.
Remember to use the
Hostess Code if your order is over £20 and under £150 (both

Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Seven, so just over half way
through. Today is a less traditional colour scheme, with Pale Blues
being the main feature, specifically Pool Party and Soft Sky. We are
using the Cookie-Cutter Christmas and Punch today, so still looking
at a Bundle Price.
Today we look at the
differences between our Classic Ink Pads and the Archival ones and
the different techniques for getting perfect results every time. We
also talk about the Stampin' Markers and that they use the same ink
as the pads, and therefore the same refill – what a great idea. I
would always recommend that when you buy an ink pad you get the
refill at the same time, it will last you a very long time and can be
used in the markers too – brilliant, well done Stampin' Up!
We are only using small
pieces of cardstock again, so great for using up a few scraps.

One of the wonderful things about doing what I do, is that I get to do it with like minded people. As well as my own Team (The Stable Hands), I am also part of another group, which has just had a Challenge issued, to use Punches to create projects. This challenge has now finished and all the entries can be found here:
I have entered a few of my recent Tag projects and would be delighted if you were to vote for any of these, so go take a look.
If you would like to join in the fun yourself, then why not think about joining my Team. There are so many benefits, not least of all the discount off products (a minimum of 20%). You also get to order the new season products at least a month in advance of everyone else, so you get to play with them for longer!! And now is a PERFECT time to join (well it always a perfect time). Let's look at why this is a great time to join in detail:
This could be your Christmas Gift from your loved one(s), and as a Crafter (which I assume you are if you are hanging out here!), what a perfect gift. Just make sure YOU pick what goes in the kit and that it is YOUR details that are used, or they could get an unexpected surprise.
If you sign up now you can include items from the new Spring/Summer Catalogue in our Starter Kit.
You get to chose EXACTLY what you put in the kit.
For just £99 you get to include up to £130 of product, which, as there is no P&P to pay, is the equivalent of an introductory discount of about 25%.
You can turn this into a business if you want, but if you just want to continue benefiting from the ongoing discount yourself, then that is fine.
You will meet like minded people and be inspired by, and inspire, them.
Just take a look at these pages on my Website for more information, or contact me to talk through any questions you have.
Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Six, so half way through,
more or less. Today is definitely a traditional colour scheme, with
Red and Gold. We are using the Merriest Wishes Stamp Set and Merry
Tags Framelits sets we used yesterday, so still looking at a Bundle
Price.
You will not be
surprised that this uses only small pieces of card again, this time
Red Glimmer Paper, Gold Foil Card and Whisper White. We will also be
using a 1-1/4” Circle Punch for the sentiment in the middle of the
tag.
Yesterday I gave you a
few hints and tips for when to use the Precision Base Plate, and also
how to keep your top plate from getting too warped when doing so; I
highly recommended having a look at this post.
TODAY IS THE DAY –
This is the last recommended date for placing orders that you need
for Christmas. If you are in the UK, I would love you to order from
me, I try to give my customers a very special experience, including
exclusive projects, early updates on important Stampin' Up!
Information and ALL customers who place on-line orders will get a
personal 'Thank You' from me. If you use the Hostess Code, you will
also be able to share in some additional Stampin' Up! Goodies, chosen
by me for you.(Qualifying orders between £20 and £150, excluding
P&P).
All my existing
Customers, and all those who order between now and next Friday, 16th
December, will receive a free copy of both the Spring-Summer 2017 AND
Sale-a-Bration Catalogue (fingers crossed) between Christmas and New
Year, ready to place your first order in the new year.
I hope you enjoy this
project and look forward to seeing you for the remainder of the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. You will find the measurements and list of
products used below.
Remember to use the

MEASUREMENTS:
The two pieces of
'card' are all the same size for this project:
Red Glimmer Card/Gold
Foil Card – 2-1/2 x 2-1/2inches (6 x 6cm)
PLUS a small piece of
Whisper White for the stamping – so needs to fit into a 1-1/4inch
circle punch.
Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Five, and using Frosty tones
today, just a little bit of stamping, that allows for any slight
errors to be out of the main sight. So far this is my favourite, I
think. I just love icy tones, and often decorate our Christmas Tree
in white and glass, with a bit of silver.
Today is also making
the most of Stampin' Up! Bundle pricing, by using the Merriest Wishes
Stamp Set and Merry Tags Framelits – you see, I am saving you money
again, am I kind to you, or am I kind to you?
This tag uses very
small pieces of card again, but does use a piece of Window Sheet to
give the Glimmer Card a bit of support.
Couple of tips for the
Big Shot – the Precision Base Plate is great for the Intricate
Dies, but you should NOT use it for standard Framelits as it can dull
their cutting edge, so try to remember to use the standard plates for
those. I find Glimmer Card is best cut from the back, again to try to
preserve the cutting edge of the dies. When you are using the
Precision Base plate in particular, you may find that the top cutting
plate begins to bend. This is normal, but not ideal, so to avoid
that, remember to use different areas of the plates, so not always
bang slap in the middle, and turn the top plate over and around as
much as you can so the pressure is distributed on different areas.
Don't worry too much if you forget any of this, it is not the end of
the world, but I do like to share any tips I come across with you.
BIG REMINDERS AGAIN –

Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Four, and using more
traditional colours for this tag. I have used Garden Green and Real
Red, with a pop of Gold and Red Glimmer, and am really pleased with
the result. I used the Holly Builder Punch and Holly Berry Happiness
Stamps, and like yesterday's project, these are available as a
Bundle, so you can save 10% on the total cost, more money for other
crafty goodies – we like that!
Today there is a bit of
tone on tone with the stamping for the background of the tag, then
some gold embossing for the finer details on the Holly Leaves and the
Bow in the middle of the tag. I used the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch
again, have you guessed that this is one of my favourite punches yet?
I love it, combined with the Project Life Corner Rounder, it is so
easy to make any number of tags in moments, and you can make them as
long as you want – just brilliant! Thank you Stampin' Up! For
making my gift wrapping so easy.
The Holly Leaves,
Berries and Bow were all made from tiny scraps that were then punched
out. Remember that if they are a bit too small to get into the punch,
you can attach them to the sticky bit of a Post It Note.

Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Three, and using Emerald Envy
again, but this time as the basis for the tag. I have gone for an
almost monochrome look this time, using the Emerald Envy, with Mint
Macaron and silver, so the cool tones of green with silver to lift
it.
This time we are using the Seasonal Bells Stamp set, this is a
great set for Christmas, but also extends into wedding projects. This
is the Wedding version of the Tag I have designed for today's project
– with a sneak peak of one of the Sale-a-Bration Stamp sets (lots
of lace stamps that can be used together, as here, or on their own –
love it!!)
The Wedding version
uses the Scallop Tag Topper Punch, while the Christmas Tag uses the
Lots of Labels Framelits, but cutting off one of the ends, either as
you put it through the Big Shot, or in the trimmer afterwards. Both
versions use the Bell Punch and heat embossing in Silver, but I am
sure you will agree that they are two very different looks. Because we need the Stamps and the Punch, this means we can take advantage of the Bundle Price, saving 10%. I love
this about Stampin' Up! Products, there are so many ways of using the
same supplies on different projects and they often bundle products at a saving, stretching your crafting budget
is certainly important to me, and I am sure it is to you too.

Welcome back to the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. We are on Day Two, and using the same stamp
set as yesterday, but creating a very different tag, more in keeping
with classic Christmas Colours, but still with a bit of a twist,
using Emerald Envy as the green element.
One of the real bonuses
of using Stampin Up products is that all the colours are true across
the whole product line. I think we all know that trying to match
colours can be difficult, but Red must be the hardest to match, so
using Cherry Cobbler as the base for today's tag could have been a
bit of a challenge, but not for Stampin' Up! make it so easy. There
is Cherry Cobbler in the Washi Tape and I used it to ink part of the
stamp; they all match perfectly. The same is true of the Emerald
Envy, which could have been a difficult colour to match as it is on
the blue end of the green spectrum, but yet again, Stampin' Up! have
done all the work for me. They make it easy for everyone to produce
professional results.
I think this is
particularly important for new crafters, many of whom start with
Christmas Projects and can be put off continuing because it is hard
to get things that match. But you will see just how easy it is with
the right products from a company that wants everyone to have fun
with professional results.
I hope you enjoy this
project and look forward to seeing you for the remainder of the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. You will find the measurements and list of

For the past few weeks
I have been working hard making items to sell at some local Christmas
Fairs, so my study has ended up looking as if a tornado has done its
worst. I have been desperate to tidy up (which my husband would
confirm is not in character at all), but because I have been working
to a deadline, I have not been able to find the time to do so.
Finally, this morning I
had a spare hour before going out, so had a serious sort through my
desk, threw away all the pieces of paper that are too small to do
anything with, and sorted the others into piles of Card and Designer
Series Paper and then into sizes depending on whether they are large
enough to be the basis of a project, or if they will just be useful
to use for smaller embellishments. Everything else has been put away
so I can now actually find what I am looking for. I feel so much
better – and ORGANISED.
But while I was going
through everything I was also thinking of what projects I could make
with some of the pieces. I have been wanting to record some more
Tutorial Videos, and now my voice has finally come back, I need to
crack on. Then the answer struck me – The Twelve Tags of Christmas.
Most people are probably past Card making by now and on to gift
wrapping, so the timing seems right AND it is a way for me to use up
some of the scraps I have sorted through, while I remember what there
is.
The First Tag of
Christmas is slightly outside the normal Red and Green, but I really
like how it turned out, and is a perfect way to dress a present up,
for Christmas or any other time of year.
I hope you enjoy this
project and look forward to seeing you for the remainder of the
Twelve Tags of Christmas. You will find the measurements and list of

One of the things I
really like about social media is that you can interact with people
across the world. Gone are the days when you were only got feedback
from people you met face to face. So with this in mind, I was
delighted to receive a request through my You Tube channel for
details about how I made an item that I had used as a prop in one of
the photos I had used. What was wonderful, was that this was from a
lady in Texas; a very long way from rural Oxfordshire!
I am delighted to
oblige, and would be happy to consider other
requests too, so just let me know what you would like to see more of,
and I will see what I can do. Remember to subscribe to my channel so you are alerted to all future videos, and sign up for email alerts to my blog.
This project uses our
Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits Dies set. This is so easy to use and with
just two passes through the Bigshot and some adhesive, you are done.
The rest is just up to you.

5cm) piece of card for the base lining.
Sometimes something you
thought was bad news, can actually turn out to be good. I had hoped
to record a video about my Hello December Journal earlier this week,
but I lost my voice, so had to wait until today. And what is good
about that? The Hello December Project Life Cards are now DISCOUNTED,
so it is a perfect time to go and buy them.
These are not only
great for a December Journal, but can also be used for Christmas Card
Toppers, so quick and easy, what is not to like?
There are lots of items
still available in the Closeout sale, but some have already sold out,
so if there is anything you want, now is the moment. I even spotted
the Layering Circle Framelits Dies at 20% off!
PLEASE NOTE, THE PRICES
BELOW ARE FULL PRICE, BUT ONCE YOU GO TO THE STORE, THE REDUCED PRICE
WILL SHOW.
Remember to use the
Hostess Code if your order is over £20 and under £150 (both
excluding P&P), so you can get some extra crafting goodies free
from me.
So pop on over to my
shop now and fill that bag with Lots of Pretty Things!
As December is now upon us, all my thoughts are turning to Christmas Gift ideas. In our family, these rarely start any sooner as we have four birthdays between the end of October and the beginning of December, which also brings the challenge of finding two gifts for people within the space of two months, without too much overlap, and with the obvious cost implications. So anything that is a bargain goes on the top of my list (gosh does that sound Scrooge-like?!)
Then a thought struck me, which I have been bursting to share with you all. We do two Card Kits that are complete sets, including the printed backgrounds, envelopes, embellishments, dimensionals, stamps, blocks and inks; the only thing to add would be some Multi Purpose Glue. But, I hear you say, how is this a discount? Well this is the clever part; if you buy a Starter Kit, you can get £130 of products for just £99 (with FREE Postage and Packing). Each of the kits cost £31.50, so four would be £126, which even leaves you with enough to buy one tube of Multi Purpose Glue. ALL FOR JUST £99!! That is just £24 a kit, and they each make 20 cards, so only just over £1 a card - a BARGAIN!
But that is not all. If you do not want the kits, you are still saving because you get £130 of product for £99, plus, if you buy during December, you can include discounted items (some of which are discounted by 60%) in your Starter Kit, at the DISCOUNTED price; so even more products for your money.
But that is still not all. You would then be eligible to buy any products you wanted with a minimum discount of 20% AND if you sign up now, you can even order items from the Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration Catalogue before they go live to customers on 4 January 2017. The 20% Discount would be available to you until the end of March, but if you buy enough between now and then (about £225 net of discount), it would continue until the end of June. There is no pressure to buy, so if you chose not to, you get to keep your Starter Kit and anything else you buy between now and the end of March, and then just stop getting the discount. No come back, no pressure, just DISCOUNTS.

If you wanted to run this as a business, then I would be delighted to help you with that, again there is no pressure from me (unless you want it). You would be able to do as much or as little as you want, and it could fit around a full time job if you so wished.

I have been looking at all the small pieces of Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper I have left from making other projects and wondering what to use them for. It finally came to me - Make Fridge Magnets!
These are just so cute! They are not toys, and that should be made clear to anyone who uses them, but they are still just so cute that I can see them taking up residence on our fridge before long. They are also very easy to make, as you will see in the video. You will need some thin magnetic sheets, the type ou can use for storing your Framelits and Thinlits ; you can also get self adhesive sheets, which would save a step. If you don't have and cannot get magnetic sheets, then you can still make these, but use them as Christmas Card Hangers, just clip them to some ribbon and you are away.
If you want any of the products I used to make these, please go to my online shop, which is open 24/7. Remember to use the Hostess Code, which is on the right of the full version of this page.
If you would like to join our team of Stable Hands, then follow the link at the top of this page. This will give you a heavily discounted Starter Kit, full of things that You chose, AND will give you early access to items in the next Seasonal Catalogue. Now that is something to think about!!

So no video today, just the reminder to stock up while you can. many of these items will not be available again once they sell out, so this really is a 'Get it While You Can' moment.

That's it, short but sweet! Now go and buy, while you can.
I am busy preparing for
a Craft Fair I am at next weekend at the Blue Cross Rehoming Centre,
Lewknor, Bucks. Do come along, it looks like it will be a fun event
and is for such a good cause. The details of the Christmas Cracker
are HERE,
it runs from 11 until 4 on Saturday 3 December.
One of the items I am
making for the event is a milk carton style treat box and I thought
you might like to see how this is made. I also thought it would be an
ideal project to make using some of the products that are currently
on offer at my online shop.
I have told you about
the Online Extravaganza a few times before, but have not shown you
any projects specifically made with products from it, so time to
rectify that. I hope you enjoy the video.
Remember that the
Online Extravaganza is running until Monday, 28th
November, so don't miss out on all the great deals, including some
items up to 40% off; also remember the Flash Sale on Monday with
extra items on offer. Whilst these are great offers, remember that
the 'Stitched from the Heart' offer is running until 30th
November with some stamp sets 25% off, so all in all a perfect time
to stock up for you and your crafty friends. So pop on over to my
shop now and fill that bag with Lots of Lovely Things!
Measurements:
The project uses a
square of card that is 6 x 6 inches, or 15.2 x 15.2cm, although any
square of Designer Series Paper would work.

Don't you just love
cute little boxes that turn something 'everyday' into a real treat
for someone?
This is the basis for
the gift sets I am putting together for a friend of mine. She and a
few friends exchange 'bits of nonsense' each Christmas and she is
running out of ideas so asked if I could help by putting lots of
little bits together in a larger Gift Box. So the challenge was
issued and the gauntlet thrown down and this is the second item I
have put together for her.
I really like Fruit
Teas, well some of them, but they have to be a definite flavour and
steeped for a very long time, preferably in an insulated mug with the
bag left in until the last sip. So I thought it would be fun to box
up a few of these using paper that matches the wrapper of the bag.
The first one I made was to go with Taylors 'Sweet Rhubarb', so an
almost exact match to Sweet Sugarplum, and the second was 'Spiced
Apple'. I did cheat slightly with this as the nearest match was
probably Cajun Craze, but I wanted to use Christmas Designer Series
Paper, so went with Cherry Cobbler instead; I think it works, but
what do you think?
I hope you enjoy the
video that goes with this.
Remember that the
Online Extravaganza is running until Monday, 28th

This pretty little box is one of a number of items I am putting together for a friend of mine who wants to gift lots of little items to some friends of hers. They do this every year and this year I have been asked to help with some of the items. This is the first item I am including in the gift set. I was specifically asked to include some Yankee Candle Tealights, so this is what I came up with.
It is a sweet little box, and is a cube, so it measures 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" or 4.2cm x4.2cm. If you are looking for ideas for colleague or teacher gifts, this would be perfect and you could match the supplies to the colour of your candles, as I did here.
I hope you like it and that you will give it a go.

If that is STILL not enough of a temptation for you, you will get 20% off future orders AND access to the new products a month early. I have seen the new products that are due to go on sale on 4 January 2017 and they are just amazing. They cover all spring summer occasions from weddings to men to Easter, to Parties ....... all so pretty.
STILL not enough of a temptation? You also get to join a great team, The Stable Hands, we will be having so much fun over the coming months, whether you want this to be a business, or whether you just want to make the most of the discounts for your own hobby, this is such a good deal that it really is a great time to join.
