Welcome to the Twelve Tags of Christmas

For the past few weeks I have been working hard making items to sell at some local Christmas Fairs, so my study has ended up looking as if a tornado has done its worst. I have been desperate to tidy up (which my husband would confirm is not in character at all), but because I have been working to a deadline, I have not been able to find the time to do so.

Finally, this morning I had a spare hour before going out, so had a serious sort through my desk, threw away all the pieces of paper that are too small to do anything with, and sorted the others into piles of Card and Designer Series Paper and then into sizes depending on whether they are large enough to be the basis of a project, or if they will just be useful to use for smaller embellishments. Everything else has been put away so I can now actually find what I am looking for. I feel so much better – and ORGANISED.

But while I was going through everything I was also thinking of what projects I could make with some of the pieces. I have been wanting to record some more Tutorial Videos, and now my voice has finally come back, I need to crack on. Then the answer struck me – The Twelve Tags of Christmas. Most people are probably past Card making by now and on to gift wrapping, so the timing seems right AND it is a way for me to use up some of the scraps I have sorted through, while I remember what there is.

The First Tag of Christmas is slightly outside the normal Red and Green, but I really like how it turned out, and is a perfect way to dress a present up, for Christmas or any other time of year.

I hope you enjoy this project and look forward to seeing you for the remainder of the Twelve Tags of Christmas. You will find the measurements and list of products used below.

Remember to use the Hostess Code if your order is over £20 and under £150 (both excluding P&P), so you can get some extra crafting goodies free from me.

So pop on over to my shop now and fill that bag with Lots of Pretty Things!
