If you have been following my blog, you will know that I have been taking part in the Stampin' Up! UK Christmas Cheer Challenge. I challenged myself to make 1,000 Christmas Cards in just 3 days.
I am delighted to say that I have smashed it! By 8pm last night, I had made just over 1,000 Christmas Cards. If my maths is right, I have made 1,067 Cards. This means that I can have a quieter day folding them and doing a proper count, ready to add the envelopes and then get the off on their journey to the Charity
My husband helped along the way with a much needed hot drink in my new Stampin' Up! mug, and one of the cats, Mustard, was on quality control.
A little normality will return soon, not that life with me can ever be described as 'normal'.
I am still hoping to collect a bit more sponsorship for the Ronald McDonald House at Oxford. They do amazing work providing a free home from home for families with children in hospital. I would be delighted if you could help. My JustGiving page is here:
We knew you would do it, without a doubt! Well done Liz!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Nicola!!
ReplyDeleteWow Liz!! That's a lot of cards. Ronald McDonald House is wonderful. My daughter did her Girl Scout Gold Award project at the local one in Houston, TX so we were able to spend several days with the children and their family member. So sweet and heart wrenching at the same time.
