Scary Make it Up Monday, but I've Got Style, and so have You - #140

Generally my project videos start with me showing you the 'Here's one I Prepared Earlier', which I find quite comfortable. However, sometimes I like to REALLY challenge myself and start with just a stamp set and a couple of bits of card and ink, and then see what happens. Today is one of those days!

I love the You've Got Style stamp set, it is such a quirky set aimed at the more mature lady, but one with a great sense of humour. The sentiments are great for all occasions, and could easily be used on cards that feature other stamps, I can see it working particularly well with the Beautiful You set. Oh, and the cat is just the cutest little thing; it seems to have a look of slight superiority as if it were saying something along the lines of 'Here we go Again'! All just perfect for a fun little, if slightly scary for me, project.

I would encourage you to take more than a second look at this set and just see the possibilities. Oh, and do you like the main colour scheme? I love how Chocolate Chip and Melon Mambo work so well together. What are your favourite 'surprising' colour combos? I would love to hear and give them a go in a future project.
