Did you know your Silicone Mat could do this? - #141

As you know, I like to make my crafty stash do as much as possible, and not necessarily only what it was designed for. Many years ago I had some embossing plates that you had to use with a rubber mat to push your card into the embossed plate. I also knew that you could use the same mat with masks that were meant for inking and spritzing through, so why has it taken me so long to put the Stampin' Up! Silicone mat and masks together and try them in the Big Shot?? Who knows!

However, having finally put two and two together, I have come up with not the usual four, but eight! How, well each piece of card will have an embossed and a debossed side, and we have four masks, so 2 x 4 = 8! Eight wonderful effects to use on your projects and no messy ink or paste to be seen. So if you are looking for a clean way of using the masks ........ You are welcome.

Of course I do now meed to make some projects with the results of this little experiment, so if you would like to see these, please keep coming back.
