Beautiful Day Swap CASE Card

Yesterday I shared some of the amazing swaps I was lucky to get when I attended OnStage last weekend. There are so many talented ladies and men ( just a few, but there are male Demos, so don't feel this is exclusively a female 'thing') I have to CASE some of their projects (CASE is Copy and Share Everything).

CASEing is encouraged in our Demo groups, but only if you credit the original designer, so in this case I have taken a card I was given by Lucy Victoria. She used the same set I have and made a flat card without any Vellum, but I just loved the idea, so wanted to take many of the elements for this card.

I love how the wings are translucent and lift off the page, just a little. The Stained Glass Technique of stamping an image in solid Black and then colouring it from the reverse side is such a great way of adding some soft colour.

All the colours I used in the card I made in the video are on the Retirement List, but may not be available now, things are moving so fast I just can't keep up with what is and is not in stock.
