Top Tip Tuesday - Revisited - Refill your Stampin' Write Markers

Thank you for stopping by for another Top Tip Tuesday. Today I am looking at how to refill you Stampin' Write Markers.

First a quick word of warning, well actually a couple. I am NOT talking about the Stampin Blends; it is not possible to refill these. Second word of warning, unless you wear protective gloves, you are likely to get inky fingers.

Now, if you have been concentrating since you found me, assuming you found me a while ago, you should know that the Ink refill that we used to refresh the Stampin' Up Ink Pads last week, can also be used to refill the Stampin Write Markers, so for just £3.50 you have one product that will keep two other products good to go for many years to go. The added bonus is that there are lots of fantastic techniques you can try using the Ink Refills.

To refill your marker you need to GENTLY pull the brush tip out of the pen, some people will use blunt nosed plyers or tweezers, which I am not a fan of as you can damage the nib if you are not careful, so either get some protective gloves, or inky fingers, the choice is yours! Place the nib down and the, with the open end of the pen up, gently add a few drops of ink to the barrel, just a few at a time. Once you think you have added enough, gently replace the nib into the barrel.

The brush end of the pen will be pretty much good to go straight away, but the writing end will need a little time for the ink to get to it. Just lay the pen flat (which is how you should store it anyway) and walk away for half an hour or so, and you will be good to go again.

Ink Refills for the main Stampin' Up Colour Collections are available at a discount if you buy them all together, but the In Colours are only available in single colours. Remember that the 2016 - 2018 In Colours will be leaving us in just over three months, so remember to get your ink refills before they sell out or retire for ever. During Sale-a-Bration is the perfect time to restock as you can get FREE Sale-a-Bration items with a qualifying order of £45 before P&P; that's EVERY £45 you spend, so the more you spend the more free products you can get.

I hope you have found this interesting and helpful. Now go and add Ink Refills to that Qualifying order and get your FREE Sale-a-Bration items.

Remember that until 31st March, you will get FREE items for every £45 order (if you spend £90 you can either choose 2 Items, or 1 of the new Level 2 Items!!!).

Until the end of March I am running a FREE Prize Draw for UK residents. If you sign up to my Newsletter between now and 31st March, you will be entered in the draw for a mini Craft Kit, with lots of lovely goodies in it including Notecards & Envelopes, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon and Embellishments. Please include your postal address if you wish to be entered into the Draw.
