Top Tip Tuesday Any Colour Embossing - #183

Today's Top Tip is all about glossy colour, and I mean REALLY glossy colour. I think we all like a bit of heat embossing, it is that magic moment when the powder turns to glass that does it for me every time. But if you are anything like me, metallics, white and clear just don't give me enough of a choice, and even if I were prepared to buy coloured embossing powder from somewhere else, there is a limit to the number that I could have. But I still want every colour.

Well we can have it all for once. And it is really simple once you understand the process. We all know that Versamark Ink is the 'go to' for heat embossing, so that has to have a place in this, and it needs to be on the top of the stamped impression so that it can attract the embossing powder. So having swiped your card with Embossing Buddy, the first thing to do is ink up your stamp with Versamark Ink. Next, ink up your stamp with the colour you want your image to be, stamp and add Clear Embossing Powder and heat as usual. As if by magic, you now have the glossy coloured image you are looking for.

Now changing the subject totally. Tomorrow sees the official launch of the Design Team that I have been invited to join; to say I am excited would be an understatement. I am also a little in awe of the company I am in, who are all amazing talents from across the world. I hope you will check back tomorrow to see what we are all up to. Oh, and tomorrow is one of the most difficult Colour Challenges I have ever taken part in, so no challenge there!!!!
