My first Tunnel Card Live on Camera (bit scary) - #170

The video that goes with this post is not one of the most professional I have ever made, but you know me, you get all the mistakes as well as a little bit of professionalism every now and again. But I really wanted to show you this card, so you are getting it ALL. The big advantage of this card is that you can fold it flat for posting in a standard C5 envelope, so no Large Letter Stamp required!! BONUS!!

Hearts Come Home Tunnel Card in Night of Navy and Whisper White

As I was shooting the video I realised that some of the measurements I had written down were a tiny bit wrong (seriously, only a little bit) so the measurements below are the adjusted ones, which should work perfectly for you. the key is to score your white card pieces first and then make sure that when you die cut the houses, you place the dies so that they are as far up the card as you can get them, and still have them on the card, AND make sure that the houses are straight up - we really don't want them leaning over!

Tear & Tape is going to be your friend too, just don't take the backings off until you are ready to stick the individual tab in place. In spite of the moments of doubt I had, I am delighted that the card turned out how I wanted it. I am really pleased with how it looks, Night of Navy and Whisper White is the perfect colour scheme.

Dimensions:
Cardbase - Night of Navy half A4 cut the long way - score at 4-3/8, 5-5/8, 10 and 11-1/4" (11.1 , 14.25, 25.3 and 28.5cm)
Thick Whisper White - Three pieces, each 5-1/4" (13.25cm) wide, one each cut 3-1/2" (8.8cm), 3" (7.6cm) and 2-1/2" (6.25cm) high. Score each piece at 3/8 and 4-3/4" (0.9 and 12cm)
