Half a Thank You on Thursday - #185

This is the first time I have used one of the new Acetate Card Boxes from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue and I am very impressed with the quality - way wouldn't I be, it is Stampin' Up! after all. But they are very 'solid and can withstand a lot of beating up, including cutting in half. For which idea, I must thank Dawn Griffiths who posted a video last week about what she had done with them - take a look HERE.

So, this is my homage to her ideas. BUT please be aware that North America have different dimensions for their boxes to accommodate their standard card size, so if you are visiting my blog from the other side of the pond, please be aware of this before you cut into your favourite card stock.

This is a very quick project, so I do hope you give it a go, and of course you can adjust where you cut your box to allow for your favourite sweet contents.

Dimensions - TWIX Box
Base 6-1/8 x 3-3/4" (15.6 x 9.5cm)
Score at 1-1/2" (3.8cm) on both long edges and 3/4" (1.9cm) on the two short edges

CRUNCHIE Box
Base 6-1/8 x 2-3/4" (6.9cm)
Score at 1" (2.5cm) on both long edges and 3/4" (1.9cm) on the two short edges
