A Little Sugarplum Ballet for Friends on Friday - #172

I have another 'don't just think of this as Autumn/Winter' project for you today. The Sugarplum Dreams stamp set from Stampin' Up! is beautiful for Christmas, but is also perfect for anyone that loves the ballet. Obviously there is the Nutcracker Suite ballet connection, but the ballet dancer is perfect anytime of the year for projects for all ballet fans.

Some really quick stamping in Basic Grey, a bit of colouring with a Blender Pen and you are pretty much done. For this type of colouring I would always suggest you use the Grey, rather than Black, and then allow if to dry fully before you colour it in to avoid bleeding. Grey give a much softer look to your project, which works well with the softer colours here.

I have added a little dimension by stamping an extra tutu and fussy cutting it out, adding Fast Fuse and Dimensionals to give it a little lift, oh and of course some Wink of Stella adds a little 'something'. This really is a very simple card to make, but is so pretty that I am sure anyone would love to receive it, so get making and share it with all your ballet loving friends.
