Have you mixed up your dies? I can help - #155

How many times have you made a card that uses lots of die sets and then got all in a bother trying to remember which ones belong to which set. I seem to do this too many times and it was a nightmare to sort out. I would look at the pictures in the catalogue, but they are so small, particularly if the dies are similar. Total NIGHTMARE!

Silver Anniversary Card using Beautiful Bouquet

Until I realised that the dies are ALL marked with the Stampin' Up! Item Number. What a result! Now I have used many brands of die and Stampin' Up! is the only company I know that marks their dies like this. So not only do they work with the matching stamp set, you can always make sure that you put them back in the right set. BRILLIANT!

  1. Great tip! I didn't realize the item numbers were on the dies. One thing I do is trace all of my dies onto the magnetic sheet with a white gel pen. Then it's easy to see if one is missing, and if there are so many dies (as in the jar set) that you can barely fit them all onto the sheet, tracing them helps to figure out the puzzle of how to fit them all in.

  2. I didn't see this card in the video, but have to say it is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S and oh so E-L-E-G-A-N-T. You never fail to "wow" me.
