Global Design Project - Challenge 085 - Blossom Bunch

Yesterday was a Bank Holiday in the UK, so I got slightly behind with my submission for the Global Design Project, but I am not stressing over that, spending time with Family and Friends is a major part of a Bank Holiday, working is not!

For me the choice is fairly easy as it has less to do with my 'Favourites' and more to do with which Ink Pads I have for the retiring In Colours (sorry, 'Colour' has a 'U' in my dictionary!) As I signed up just after the soon to retire Annual Catalogue was launched I did not think it worth getting products that I know were not going to be around for a full year. Over the months I have acquired a Mint Macaron and a Watermelon Wonder Ink Pad, so those instantly went on the list for this challenge, and I thought Tip Top Taupe would be a good neutral to work with them. So my three colours were selected.

I decided I wanted a bit of texture, both literal and visual, so chose one of the sheets from the Affectionately Yours Specialty Designer Series Paper and cut that at 5-1/2 x 3-3/4"(14 x 9.5 cm) and glued it to the front of an A6 Card Base in Tip Top Taupe at a jaunty angle. I then ran a piece of Tip Top Taupe through the BigShot using the Hexagon Dynamic Embossing Folder and trimmed that down to 5-3/8 x 3-5/8" (13.5 x 9 cm) and set that square on the card base with Dimensionals.

The Flower and Sentiment are from the Bunch of Blossoms Stamp Set. The Flower and leaves are punched with the Blossom Builder Punch, which is carrying over to the new Catalogue, but is available at a BUNDLE DISCOUNT until the end of May, so you will want that before the price goes up!!!

The ribbon is from a Trio pack that was in the Autumn Winter Catalogue and is now on the Clearance Rack.
