The new Stamp Set is Reverse Words and it does exactly that (Item #143319 to use with Clear Blocks, or #143316 including wood blocks). The inked area is the background, which leaves the word uninked (although I am not sure that is a word!). It is a great set, not lest of all because it is really easy to use and does not require perfect inking skills as there are meant to be areas that do not stamp. Perfect for any new stamper, so if you want a useful set of stamps that will help you take the plunge into stamping, this is it. As it is FREE with a £45 order (excluding P&P), it means that you can buy a few ink pads and some cardstock and you are good to go, particularly as one of the options is to get it with the wood mounts included (all still for that great price of NOTHING!!)
But what does a Qualifying Order look like for a New Stamper? I hear you say. Well my thoughts are that you could either go for a tone on tone look, which could be two of the Cardstock Packs that coordinate with Designer Series Paper (each pack has 8 sheets of three colours, so you could get a good range), I would probably choose Serene Scenery and Festive Birthday Card Packs. Add in the 5 matching Inks (the Serene Scenery includes Thick Whisper White, which is perfect of card bases, as is the coloured card), a pack of Baker's Twine and you have a total of just £47.25, so add in your FREE stamps and you are good to go.
If you wanted to have some of the smooth Whisper White, which is perfect for easy stamping, then get a pack to that (40 sheets for just £8.25) and one pack of coloured card (I would pick the Festive Birthdays again), the three matching Inks and the Balloon Bouquet Punch I used for this project, and you have a total of just £49.50.
Why not give it a go?
