We are allowed to add Whisper White, Basic Black, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake to these challenges, so this week my palette includes Whisper White and Crumb Cake.
I used one of the papers from the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Papers as the background for the card, and this was why I used Crumb Cake as one of my extra colours, as it is included in the pattern I had chosen. I also added a strip of one of the Washi Tapes from the suite as a grounding point.
The stamping came from the sentiment I had chosen, which is from Beautiful You - Wishing You Brighter Days to Come. I used two of the stamps from the Papillion Potpourri set, and three generations of each of the colours, with the full colour nearest to the sentiment. I then punched a Bitty Butterfly in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (honestly, this was to cover a mark I had made on the card, but I think it finishes the card off!). I stamped three of the small butterflies inside the card in full strength of each of the colours.
I really enjoyed putting this card together and hope you like it too!
Liz, Great use of these colors! Thank-you for taking the challenge! - Krista from Canada
ReplyDeleteThanks Krista. I thought I was going to struggle with this one, but it came together really easily in the end.
DeleteGorgeous Liz. It's always nice to see Papillion Potpourri come out for a play! Thanks so much for joining in with this week's Global Design Project!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jess. I only just got these stamps (they have been on my wish list for a while) so loved having a play for this challenge.
