They are so different in look, which is perfect as it shows that this pack of paper can be used for bright projects if that is what you want, but is also perfect for something a bit more subtle. I think you will agree that they are totally different, yet the layout is exactly the same and it is just the colours that have changed.
The only challenge I had with the the second card, was what to use in the middle of the flowers. I had used Enamel Shapes on the brighter version, but I wanted the second card to only have the Night of Navy, Crumb Cake and Copper. I could have punched the flowers from Crumb Cake and used Night of Navy for the centres, but I didn't think the flowers would stand out if I did that, and really wanted to use Night of Navy for the flowers. So I tried using mini glue dots and copper embossing powder for the centres - IT WORKS!!
I am really pleased with how these turned out and hope you enjoy them too. The stamping inside the cards uses some of the stamps from the Avant Garden Sale-a-Bration stamp set. You probably know that you can get this stamp set FREE with an order of £45 (excluding P&P) - you get a free item from the Sale-a-Bration Catalogue for EVERY £45, and we all love FREE stuff.
