Window Shopping and joining the fun!

Today I have been playing with the Window Shopping Stamp and Die Bundle. I love a Bundle, who won't want 10% off crafty stuff? Always keep your eyes peeled for these in the catalogues.

There is so much to play with in this bundle that I wasn't sure where to start, but then I remembered that the Demonstrator Exclusive magazine had some samples in it using this, so had a quick look and pretty much did a straight CASE (Copy and Share Everything) of the samples, just using slightly different colours. But I love the results and this set, you can do so much with it. The dies are great for making a different shape box, but the other elements can do so much more than you would think at first.

I really liked the effect you get with the Ombre Stamp Pads too. I have been looking at these since they first came out, but had decided against them. At our last monthly Team meeting one of the raffle prizes was the Peekaboo Peach Ombre Pad, so I thought I would give it a go. Well, I am a convert! I love that you can use each shade separately, but also as one pad; just remember to give a slight twist as you ink up the stamp so you don't get solid lines between the shades.

Had I not gone to the Team meeting I probably would still be ignoring the Ombre ink pads, just another benefit of being a Demo. One of the things I love about the Team get togethers is that you meet so many different sorts of Demo (and you thought we are all the same!). Some are Demos that run a business, others are Hobby Demos and are their only customer, but they are all great fun and we have a real blast together (and all understand why we love stroking paper!) and get so much inspiration from each other.
